About Us

Forever Bridal Wedding Shows was started in 1995 with its first bridal show consisting of only 25 vendors. Those 25 vendors attracted over 100 brides, creating the start of Forever Bridal’s assent to the premiere bridal show producer of North Carolina. The company now hosts four shows a year, including North Carolina’s largest, attracting over 1000 brides and nearly 300 vendors.

Forever Bridal Wedding Shows keeps itself as the forerunner in bridal shows and production company by constantly developing their business and focusing on how they can enhance the bride's experience. This has led to the production of the Dream It • Plan It • Live It• ™  wedding organizer and an interactive set of online wedding planning tools called My Bridal Suite, exclusively designed for today's busy bride-to-be. In addition to serving brides, Forever Bridal Wedding Shows founded the Triangle Bridal Association in 2002. The association was founded as a way to network wedding related businesses in the Research Triangle who are committed to serving local brides.

Forever Bridal Wedding Shows is a proud member of Bridal Show Producers International (BSPI), a professional association for bridal show producers. Since 1997, Forever Bridal has been a fixture at the annual BSPI conferences.  The owners and staff have set trends, served as industry expert panel members to other show producers, and are a 9-time BSPI Star Award winners for image, branding, radio and marketing pieces. Currently, Laura is the acting Managing Director of BSPI.

Forever Bridal Wedding Shows began with its own love story. The owners, Laura and Dominick, met, fell in love, and were married in 1991 in Raleigh, Laura's hometown. After a brief stay in New Jersey in which Dominick exhibited in bridal shows nationwide, the couple developed a plan to start their own bridal show production company in the Triangle. They settled in Raleigh and Forever Bridal Wedding Shows was born…

Meet the Staff

Laura DiGirolamo

Laura, a Raleigh native, is a southern girl at heart. Her creativity and drive was evident early on with her competitive gymnastics career and as captain of several sports teams at Enloe High School. She attended East Carolina University where she cheered her team on from the sidelines as an ECU Cheerleader. In 1987, she met fellow athlete and future husband and business partner, Dom DiGirolamo. After graduating with a degree in Interior Design, Dom popped the question and the couple spent 18 months planning their own spectacular wedding. Dom and Laura are a perfect match, and along with 4 children, have built Forever Bridal and the Triangle Bridal Association from the ground up.

Laura's vision has always been to inspire and educate both the bride and local business owners, and as a marketing and branding specialist, ideas are certainly never lacking. Her impeccable taste, superb organization abilities, and enthusiasm has made a significant impact on the industry. If anyone knows how to get you down the aisle in style, it's Laura.

Dominick DiGirolamo

Dominick is the quintessential go-to-guy. Period. Dom hails from New Jersey where he attended the prestigious Delbarton School and served as Captain for both Football and Baseball teams. At an early age, Dom was an integral part of his family’s business in the New York City area where he learned many of the managerial skills that helped him excel. Dominick attended East Carolina University where he studied Business Administration and played baseball for the Pirates, and that’s where he met his wife, Laura. The two began dating in 1987 and have been inseparable ever since.

Building a company from scratch is a challenge in any industry, but the couple never faltered. With each passing year they consistently gained market share and Dominick continued to thrive in developing new strategies to help businesses market themselves to brides. Dominick's passion for educating brides led him to develop a one of a kind contact management software system that gives each bride control over her own account and inevitably, her dream wedding.

Together, Laura and Dom have realized their dreams and become the hub of the bridal industry in Raleigh and surrounding areas. If you’re a vendor looking for brides, or a bride planning a wedding, you just found two indispensable experts to help show you the way.

Victoria Grimes

Victoria is a true southern girl, with a sprinkle of Brooklyn mixed in. She's worked with family members in the planning and executing of events since she was a child. Early on, she recognized that her natural attention to detail would be an invaluable asset in the world of wedding planning. So she took a step to break into the wedding industry with VIP Formal Wear, where coincidentally enough, she met her husband. Soon after their son, Cyrus was born, they moved to Florida, but she longed to be back in the business of weddings.

Once they returned to Raleigh, she resumed her career at David’s Bridal where she was promoted to Dress Specialist Supervisor, and that’s when she became a fan of Forever Bridal Wedding Shows. Soon after the birth of her second child, a daughter named Aeris, she got the chance to work for Forever Bridal and she jumped on it!

Her love and passion for matching the bride to her perfect vendor makes her job truly fulfilling. There’s nothing better than watching the excitement of new vendors, and hearing about the successes of existing vendor partners when they renew their Forever Bridal advertising contracts. This is her dream job and she's loving every minute of it!
