Indian summer is upon us!... But, here at Forever Bridal we are definitely looking forward to the crisp fall air putting a spring in our step as we dive into the planning of our fall events.

As all the statistics indicate, October has become one of the most popular months to get married in North Carolina. So, with that being said, we are very excited to host our October Bridal Show on a Thursday evening. The Triangle Bridal Showcase will be held at the Hilton Durham near Duke University on October 28th from 5pm-9pm. We have some new and exciting marketing, as well as engaging show features to unveil, so now is the time reserve your booth space.

THE FACT IS ::

We believe that branding is important when it comes to running a successful business, yet many wedding professionals don't place their focus on branding at all, because it is not often that there are repeat costumers in the wedding market. This notion is changing, as small businesses are spreading their messages in more than one medium, therefore increasing their chances of getting noticed. When brides see the same ad in several places and start to recognize your "brand" they are more likely to remember you when it is time to book. That being said, it is time to start looking at where your marketing dollars are going and making sure your "brand" is recognizable, yet simple and to the point. Your best bet is to contact a professional graphic artist to design your look and then make sure to test your logo and colors among people who are in a similar age group as those you hope to market to.

WHAT'S NEW WITH THE TBA ::

Thanks to all of you that joined us for our September Connection lunch at Irregardless Cafe. It was great to see everyone, and we look forward to the next opportunity on October 5th. Location will be announced via email...we hope to see you there!

Our 4th quarter meeting is the highly anticipated Panel of Brides event which will be hosted at The Cardinal Club in Downtown Raleigh on Tuesday, November 2nd. Engaged couples from the Triangle will be joining us to share their stories and educate our members on how they want to be sold to, contacted, etc. This is one event you do not want to miss! Members, please RSVP if you have yet to do so and please be thinking of what you would like to contribute to the gift bag that each couple will receive as our way of saying thank you.
